Domenico Scarlatti, the Italian composer of the Baroque era, especially known for his clavier sonatas, created an extensive collection of 555 sonatas. Although it is difficult to determine the “most famous”, since the preferences are different, here are the three sonatas that are considered outstanding:
Sonata D Minor, K. 9 (L. 413) – “Pastoral”
